INSPIRE, EDUCATE AND EMPOWER RWANDA

 

Inspire, Educate and Empower Rwanda (IEE), formerly International Education Exchange is a Not-For-Profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) locally registered by the Rwanda Governance Board. IEE builds alliances with communities, helping to sustain triumphs of the times while designing and delivering innovative projects to address inevitable challenges in education to ensure quality provision and wellbeing of school children. In 2015, IEE received local status registration by the Rwanda Governance Board following restructuring of collaboration with IEE Port Chester, NY USA counterparts.

Since 2005, IEE has collaborated with the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC), with support from partners to contribute to education implementation. In 2009, IEE launched its current model of in-service teacher development, which has complemented government efforts in this regard. IEE’s School-based Mentoring Project complements the national School-based Mentoring Project (SBMP) being implemented by Rwanda Education Board (REB).
